Building a life that feels like your own can be harder than it appears. You may be navigating a major life transition, adapting to a new culture, or trying to find your place in school, work, or relationships. Even when you seem to be doing well on the outside, you may still feel anxious, disconnected, uncertain about your direction, or caught between your own needs and the expectations of family, culture, and others.
I work with young adults, international students, immigrants, and individuals navigating anxiety, depression, identity and belonging, academic or career pressure, relationship concerns, and cultural adjustment. I understand how exhausting it can feel to carry these experiences quietly or to believe that you need to explain yourself perfectly before you can be understood.
My approach is gentle, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I aim to create a space where you can slow down, lower your guard, and explore your experiences without judgment or pressure. Together, we can better understand the patterns and relationships that have shaped you, reconnect with strengths that may have been overlooked, and clarify what feels meaningful and authentic to you.
You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. We can start wherever you are and move at a pace that feels right for you. I provide therapy in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
