Anxiety, Family Conflict / Dynamics, Racial Identity, Relationship Issues, Social Life

Hi, I'm Toni. As a 1.5-generation Chinese American who moved frequently at a young age, I know what it feels like to straddle different worlds and search for a place that truly feels like home. This foundation shapes my work with all clients, but especially with immigrants, children of immigrants, and Third Culture Kids. My hope is to give you a safe space to process the push and pull of acculturation, the negotiation of self-identity and family obligation, and the longing for belonging.
Of course, identity is often just one thread among many. I work with adults and teens navigating chronic anxiety, depression, complex relationships, and the weight of family expectations. If you've ever felt caught in a cycle of overthinking, or like you know what you should do but feel overwhelmed by how to start, you're not alone. No matter what your experience is, I aim to help you untangle painful feelings so you don't have to carry them alone.
Rather than treating what surfaces as a problem, we'll explore what it might point toward, whether unmet needs, unresolved experiences, or ways you've learned to adapt. From there, we'll build tools to help you grow. I draw from ACT, narrative therapy, DBT, and CBT, offering LGBTQ+ affirming and trauma-informed care where you show up as you are.
Many people believe healing means fixing "broken" parts of themselves. I hope to gently offer a different view: every part of you holds meaning and has something to contribute to your growth.
