In a city where millions of people pretend to be someone they are not, an authentic self might be the most luxurious thing to have and celebrate. However, I believe that we can still make it without having to fake it. I am here to hold space for you to embrace, express, and explore yourself. By creating a judgment-free, gender-affirming, sex-positive, and kink-friendly environment, I hope to be part of your journey of healing and growing.
With my cross-cultural background and intersecting identities, I understand subtle cultural differences and strive to raise awareness of mental health within underserved communities. Therapy is not magic, and I am aware of its limitations. Outside of the therapy room, I see myself as an advocate, an educator, and an activist. I cherish every opportunity to promote the visibility and welfare of marginalized populations.
I have extensive experience working with immigrants, international students, racial and ethnic minorities, and LGBTQ+ populations, especially transgender individuals. Prior to entering the field of counseling, I worked in various news and media agencies. I was also a career coach at the NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development, where I gained substantial experience in career counseling.
As an Asian queer therapist, I incorporate multicultural and feminist theories into my therapy work. I believe that everyone deserves to be validated and supported and my goal is to help my clients transform moments of challenge into opportunities for empowerment.
Email is the preferred way to reach me. I’m looking forward to start this therapeutic journey with you.
