As a professional with lived experience, I recognize that we are each on a mental health journey that involves challenging work, but we don’t have to do this work alone. You are worthy of that work. My holistic and empathetic approach will help you to develop new ways of thinking, feeling, relating to others, and being in the world. I work with my clients to co-create an environment of trust, honesty, and mutual accountability. I believe in the power of collective liberation and our innate ability to heal. My approach is inclusive of (2S)LGBTQIA+ folx and is rooted in anti-racist practices that decolonize our bodies, minds, and spirits. I work in individual and group therapy modalities with a keen interest in creativity, and will make use of arts-based approaches where appropriate. I offer gender-affirming care letters as well.
I co-facilitate weekly Social Therapy groups for adults with Ann Green, PsychNP and teens with Rachel Mickenberg, LCSW.
I've worked with isolated families in rural Appalachia and with Autistic / neurodiverse persons in urban New York. I specialize in artists / creatives, tech workers, game developers, and professionals in the adult entertainment industry. In addition, I've work to shape local, regional, and national social policies around access to mental health services and wealth inequality.
