About Me

As an Indo-Caribbean-American therapist, I understand what it means to grow up in a culture where silence is survival, and vulnerability is often met with shame. Whether you’ve been told “stop crying before I give you something to cry for” or felt like you had to carry everything on your own—you’re not alone, and you’re not too much.

My work centers first- and second-generation South Asian and Indo-Caribbean clients navigating grief, generational trauma, burnout, identity confusion, or the quiet ache of not feeling "enough." Together, we’ll untangle inherited narratives, unlearn shame, and give your emotions the dignity they deserve.

I blend CBT, EMDR, and somatic practices through a decolonial and strengths-based lens. Therapy with me is a soft but brave space—where your lived experience is valid, your culture is honored, and healing isn’t about fixing you, but remembering who you were before the world told you to be small.

“You’ve carried so much for so long. It’s okay to put it down for a moment.”

If you’re ready to start—or even just curious—I welcome you to schedule a consult. Let’s explore how therapy can feel like a return home to yourself.
