Has anyone ever told you that you’re really harsh on yourself? Or that you always bend over backwards for others? It can be exhausting to try to have it all together and not be able to share how you’re really feeling. What if you could treat yourself the way you treat your friends or loved ones? As a high-performing, high-achieving, self-critical, and/or perfectionistic professional in a fast-paced city, that can feel unattainable. As a therapist, I strive to foster a space where you can pause, take a breath, and feel the emotions we’ve learned to tuck away so that it doesn’t hamper our productivity or burden others. My practice is informed by the idea that in a secure, compassionate, & honest relationship, we can feel brave enough to feel, think, & talk about some of the hardest & most vulnerable things in our life.
