About Me

Do you cognitively know one thing and yet feel another? You feel stuck and overwhelmed and aren’t sure what else you can “do”? You are not alone! I work with clients to make sense of their critical thoughts and overwhelming feelings, break unhealthy patterns, and learn what it is that they need to foster a healthy relationship with themselves and others. Therapy is a process of cultivating awareness, unlearning harmful beliefs, and relearning beliefs aligned with one’s authentic self. It is a space to be, to learn, to grow, and to heal.

As a therapist, I work relationally with a trauma focused, emotion focused and attachment based lens. My style is to be exploratory and practical, while also creating an empathic, non judgmental, compassionate environment. When appropriate I will gently nudge and challenge you to expand your ideas and shed some insight.

Research has shown that finding the right therapist for you is one of the most important factors for your growth and healing. If you’re ready to begin this process reach out for a free consultation, where we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy and for you to get a sense of what it will be like to work with me. I’m excited to hear from you!

I have work with individuals with various mental health concerns and diagnoses including depression, anxiety, trauma (racial, spiritual, intergenerational, childhood, interpersonal and sexual trauma), abuse, addiction (substance use, porn, love), relationship issues (including family of origin issues), imposter syndrome, burnout and life transitions. In addition, I work with individuals around issues of trust, boundaries, stress, low self esteem, and feelings of guilt, shame, anger, and doubt.
