I help many Asian American high-achievers in their 20’s to 40’s who are successful in many aspects of their life but struggle with their insecurity and self-criticism, especially in relationships, to accept themselves with more confidence, and to experience more fulfilling relationships and life. In our sessions together, you will not only build insights into the root cause of your insecurity and self-criticism affecting your relationships, but will also experience deeper emotions that you’ve never been able to reach on your own. These new emotional experiences in sessions will help you develop a strong confidence, self-compassion, and sense of trust in your true-self that have been buried underneath your insecurity.
Many of my clients' insecurity and self-criticism stem from their difficult childhoods with complex trauma, and my work is guided by a trauma-informed approach in a gentle, kind, relational manner. Over their time in therapy, many of my clients experience a significant growth in identifying their own triggers for insecurity and unhelpful reaction patterns and coping with them in healthier ways. It also gets easier for them to validate, prioritize, and communicate their own feelings and needs to set boundaries with other people without worrying about other people’s judgements and expectations.
If you’re ready to overcome your insecurity and to fully enjoy your true-self and a life that you want, I welcome you to reach out for a free 15-minute video consultation. You don’t have to struggle alone any more. Let’s discuss how we can work towards reclaiming your true-self without insecurity and nurturing your confidence and self-compassion.
