Issues Treated
ADD / ADHD, Anxiety, Cultural Issues, Depression, Family Conflict / Dynamics

Have you ever felt alone in a room surrounded by people? Are you having trouble connecting with people? Do you feel stuck in your relationship, job or life? Let’s examine the reasons for this together. My goal as a clinician is to collaborate with you to create an environment that is safe for you to express your needs, while also helping you explore your desires. I believe that effective therapeutic treatment is rooted in empirically-valid methodologies that are adapted for your own unique multicultural background. I specialize in individuals dealing with a variety of symptoms from depression and anxiety to grief.
As an Asian Canadian, I have been an expat, immigrant, and foreigner. I have years of experience helping emerging Asian adults navigate their identities in their complex communities. I have a person-centered approach that is rooted in cultural humility, meaning that we will work together to identify maladaptive coping strategies and create goals that are aligned with your specific needs.
The world can be a difficult place. Time does not stop. It can be difficult to navigate a society with systemic expectation and oppression, especially when you are trying to heal from past wrongs. Often the hardest part of the journey of healing is the beginning. Please feel free to reach out to me for a free consultation to see if we would be a good fit.
