About Me

Embracing the Tao, or the Way, taught me the healing power that comes from navigating life’s continuous flow with grace and fluidity. By collaboratively healing and opening the channel between the mind and feeling world, we will work together to prepare your whole being for this transformative journey. I’m Shao, a bilingual therapist with an international and multicultural background. I am passionate about helping you work through any blockages that may prevent you from experiencing freedom, ease, and deeper meaning in your life. Together, we can celebrate your courage as you choose your own unique path. My therapy approach is eclectic, using Internal Family System, spirituality, indigenous healing, Jungian psychoanalysis and DBT coping skills. As a trauma-informed, gender-affirming specialist, I blend Zen Buddhism & improvisation theatre for a creative touch, exploring meditation, imagery, somatic work, metaphors, and dream interpretation. My goal in therapy is to create a warm, empathic, and reflective space that invites you to ask deeper questions and reconnect with your most authentic self.
