Sometimes, life can feel like the ocean. Strong waves can push you out, pull you back in, and make you feel turned around. They can cause life challenges to feel overwhelming, unmanageable, and scary. As your therapist, I’m here to help you always find your way back to shore. I'm open to working with all individuals. However, I have specific interest in working with those who identify as college students, struggle with anxiety and perfection, people with disabilities, people of color, and those who are first-generation.
My therapeutic style is warm, open and empathetic. I’m here to lead you, not push, and am excited to learn as much from you as you will from me. There is no one size fits all when it comes to treatment, so I like to use multiple approaches, including psychodynamic therapy, CBT, strengths identification, motivational interviewing, and active listening.
Remember that you are the expert in your own life, and no one knows you better than you know yourself. As a multi-marginalized person, I know how difficult it can be to seek treatment and am here for you every step of the way. If you and I sound like you’d be a good fit, feel free to reach out and let’s learn and grow together.
