About Me

Are you wondering if you are in a relationship that is unhealthy for you, or continually hoping to find the right one? Do you feel that past relational experiences have created survival strategies that thwart your efforts to live a truly fulfilled and happy life?

Many of my individual therapy clients struggle with anxiety, depression, overwhelming emotions, and shame, which are often connected to relational, developmental, and intergenerational traumas and family of origin histories. They seek help in how to break free of unwanted cycles of internal conflict, self-doubt, and unhealthy relationship patterns, toward a more realized, balanced, and happy life. Many have found talk therapy to be helpful, but feel that they haven't able to access deeper layers of experience that lie at the root of the issues. This is why I believe so strongly in somatic, mind-body, and expressive arts interventions to facilitate transformation and growth.

I also see couples and families, with additional specialization in multiracial and QT couples and multiracial, adoptive families. I work from an anti-oppressive and holistic perspective that honors the unique lived experience of each member of a family. I am trained in family and couple therapy, contemplative psychotherapy, and somatic abolitionism, and will work collaboratively through a dynamic integration of these modalities to help you and your loved ones interrupt painful cycles of rupture and find a way back to connection.

If you are curious about the benefits of contemplative and relational psychotherapy, or looking for psychotherapy that takes a more holistic approach through embodied practices, please reach out for a consultation.
