Cheryl uses various modalities for short term therapy including: CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. She also utilizes psychodynamic approaches to help individuals understand how past and current situations may be connected, in order to help them make meaningful changes, to even long term patterns. Cheryl has experience working with a diverse client population from children to seniors, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has most experience working with emerging adults (late adolescence) dealing with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and difficulty adjusting to changes in life transitions.
