Issues Treated
Addiction, Anxiety, Borderline Personality, Cultural Issues, Trauma / PTSD

You may understand where your struggles come from and still feel stuck in the same patterns. Maybe you’re navigating the effects of trauma, intense emotions, relationship difficulties, self-destructive behaviors, or simply wondering why knowing what you “should” do doesn’t make it easier to do it.
I specialize in trauma therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), including working with trauma, complex emotional experiences, and suicidality. My approach is both compassionate and practical. I want to help you understand how your experiences shaped the ways you think, feel, and respond today, without losing sight of the fact that you get to decide what happens next.
Together, we’ll make sense of your experiences, develop a deeper understanding of yourself, and ask the questions that matter now: How do you want to feel? What do you want your relationships and life to look like? What would it take to move toward that?
Sometimes moving forward means building new skills or trying something different. Sometimes it means slowing down and simply sitting with what hurts. Wherever you are starting from, I want therapy to be a place where you feel understood, challenged with care, and supported in creating meaningful change.
I also run DBT skills groups and have a particular skill in not just teaching the skills, but fostering a safe and comfortable environment where you can learn how to apply the skills to your life right now, not just in theory. Reach out to learn more!
