Bridges is a stigma-free web hub for Asian Pacific Islander South Asian Americans (APISA) to seek out, discuss, and navigate mental health care in New York City. Our site includes a Directory of clinicians who are passionate about working with APISA clients and a Blog featuring content speaking to the Asian American experience as it intersects with mental health.
You can access the directory here. Type any keyword (e.g., specialty, issues treated, therapist orientation) into the search bar to search the therapist profiles for appropriate matches, or narrow your search geographically by searching your zip code. After your search populates you can click on providers’ profiles to read more about their approach and reach out.
We’d love to include you in our directory! Add your listing here.

The Bridges team collects information of mental health providers via clinician self-reporting, but does not further screen listed providers. We do not directly endorse any of the providers listed in our directory. We encourage users to read each provider’s profile, visit their websites, and to check with the professional licensing entities in your state to make sure that the therapist is licensed, in good standing, and eligible to practice in your state.
Bridges focus is currently on connecting users to mental health providers for therapy services. Our current providers are psychologists (PhD, PsyD), social worker (MSW, LCSW), mental health counselors (LMHC, MHC-LP), and marriage and family therapists (LMFT). If you’re interested in learning more about the differences between these types of clinicians you can read more about it here.
