This group welcomes Asian Pacific Islander South Asian American therapists *from all time zones* looking to explore the intersectionality of their culture, chosen profession, and individuality. Members will be exploring ways to express their inner selves authentically while deepening connections with each other. Those new to groups are welcome.
The ongoing group is led by Dr. Teresa Lee and Dr. Bob Hsiung, who are Asian American identified psychiatrists and psychotherapists interested in the intersectionality of identity and profession.
Time: 8 PM – 9:15 PM EST
Date: weekly on Wednesdays
Fee per session: $75 (therapist); $40 (trainee). 1-2 group screenings required.
If interested, please email the group facilitators at Asians@dr-bob.org
We therapists have more layers to just being therapists. We are human and say and do human things! That’s why there is space just for you to take off your professional hat, learn about your interpersonal signature and reactions in a safe and supportive environment, and practice new ways of connecting with others.
Time: 4:30 PM EST
Date: weekly on Tuesdays, starting 10/18/22
This weekly group will be 75 minutes and a potential for deep connection and intrapsychic work.
