This restorative class offers gentle movements and meditation, focused on calming emotional and physical impacts of stress and anxiety. Classes will involve deep stretching and releasing tension in hips, shoulders, and back and revolve around various wellness themes including self-compassion, loving kindness and finding balance.

Classes will include grounding/centering; restorative postures; gentle flowing movements; and a short debriefing. All levels welcome. The facilitator is Nira Shah, a psychotherapist (LMHC) and yoga instructor. Nira has experience in mental health and social work internationally and local to NYC. She believes that compassion and mindfulness are core components for personal growth and healing, and aims to bring accessibility to yoga and mental health care to marginalized communities.
