Be Online for Your Peers

As recent increases in racism, xenophobia, and sinophobia have negatively impacted the lives of many Asian Americans, it is important for fellow helping professionals to be there for one another now more than ever.

Join fellow Asian American mental health professionals for peer-based group supervision with the NY Coalition for Asian American Mental Health’s (NYCAAMH) Professional Development Group.

Among many others, topics have centered around adapting to changes during the COVID-19 pandemic, navigating race-based interactions, discussing clinical challenges, and dealing with stress and trauma in the workplace and the community.

While these are traditionally once a month in person, Daniel Tanh, LCSW is co-facilitating virtual meetings every two weeks. Dates and meeting information are regularly posted on the NYCAAMH website.
