Our Time is Now is an event to inspire young people to advocate for vulnerable members of the Asian-American Community. Through the Giving Summit’s “Our Time is Now” event, KACF will examine how the next generation can make an impact in uplifting our most vulnerable community members.
This special event will feature a live conversation with Grace Choi, Director of Policy in the NYC Mayor’s Office, Jane Yoon, Special Education Teacher in NYC Public Schools, and Andrew Kung, Brooklyn-based Photographer. As a policymaker, an educator, and a photographer, the three speakers will share their personal stories of how they are taking action to make an impact in the face of heightened racism against Asian Americans.
Please join us for this timely and important conversation!
This event is geared toward high school and college students, but the general public is also encouraged to attend.
Sign up here. Please RSVP by 4/22 to receive the Zoom link to join the conversation.
